crickfit game rules:
- Aiming for minimum of 16 overs per innings, last over can not start past 5:15pm
- Bowlers bowl in 2 over spells, and their run up can not exceed the "Run Up" line (marked 5 meters from the wickets)
- Wides: see wicket layout for wide markings. A wide does not add to the opponents score, instead results in the next ball bowled being a free hit. The only way the batter can get out in this scenario is run out
- Wicket keepers can opt to bowl 2 consecutive overs when and if they like
- Batting: batters bat in pairs and each batting pair can only bat for a max of 15mins before retiring. This ensures that the 4 batting pairs receive equal time in the middle during the first hour of play
- Scoring shots: Players who hit the ball into the designated zones behind the 5m lines will double their score for the shot played
- Wickets: each out is recorded in the crickfit table.
- Fielding players continually rotate around the field (clockwise) once bowlers have completed their 2 overs.
- Umpires do not record bowling or batting stats, just record on the crickfit table the following
- the number of legitimate balls bowled (not to exceed 8) in an over
- the team's running total
- the number of outs per innings
